The graveyard of the Soviet soldiers
The graveyard of the Soviet soldiers killed during the World War II is located in Kleszew. The build of the mausoleum began in 1948 and was completed in 1949. The object measures 21 000 m². In the main part the central point is pavilion made of granite and sandstone.
On the graveyard there are 369 collective graves and 85 individual graves. There rest 16 643 soldiers and officers of the Soviet army.
